One of the great things about being a photographer is that not only do you get to capture beautiful moments but you get to experience so many different situations in the process.   I’ve walked through the doors of numerous fascinating companies, met talented artists and musicians, got to witness lovely connections between families and have been involved in social projects which are doing wonderful work. 

I just visited the lovely village of Grimaud in the Cote d'azur. I love these windows and shutters because even though there are no people in the actual photograph you feel the buildings are lived in. Some shutters are open, some curtains have been drawn and some windows are closed. .      

In the days when film photography was the only option, you would choose a roll of colour or black and white film and that would be that.  You would know beforehand in which medium a photograph was going to come out which would in turn influence how you take it. One of the things I love the most about photographing babies is seeing the world through their eyes.  For babies everything is new and interesting. Different textures, sounds and looking at their own reflection pique their curiosity.

Considering spiders are not the most popular creature it's amazing what that are capable of creating.   I love to photograph spiderwebs. Something about the slightly disorganised order and the way the light reflects off them. They really are quite magical.
